-
As a therapist and director, Alessia believes that it is important for each individual to have the space to feel safe and comfortable to explore all aspects of themselves in order to lead to all they are meant to become. The overall goal is to help lead individuals to their soul, which in turn helps understand and acknowledge patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that are hindering growth and causing symptoms of distress, mentally and physically.
Psychological and neurological research shows that past experiences create body memory and thought processes encoded in our brain, which become the neural pathways for triggering and experiencing the world we live in. Many of these patterns that are triggered are for survival strategies that carry emotional charge that hinder us from living fully present and receptive to healthier patterns of overall connection. These neural pathways and body memories and experiences, when not processed or dealt with, can manifest present day as depression, anxiety, as well as a variety of physical symptoms. Using techniques in emotional based therapeutic tools (Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor-PBSP) and mind/body microtracking, this allows the client to experience and explore interior/exterior perspectives and reshape them in the present day. This helps clients with emotional regulation, awareness, and recreating new neural pathways for symbolic corrections and experiences at the core of psychological distress. This helps minimize and diminish psychological (mental and physical) distress in a healthier way. Creating this safe place through the relationship with Alessia, clients are able to explore and gain tools and experiences to live their life more authentically and healthily.
